Welcome to the world of Jawhar.
What began as a simple idea turned into a journey to balance through bold, geometric design choices, with softness around the one idea that sparked it all: what if the familiar silhouette of a chunky, contemporary sofa was made with a soft bouclé?
Jawhar جواهر (Arabic): jewel, or the inner essence of something
The heavy, time-worn stone slab table holds precious finial jars, once again held by the softness of the plush, pile rug, as if the sofa taught it’s surroundings its native language. The sofa has a texture change HUD where you can customise individual parts: honey beige, deep olive and charcoal black / leather accent pillows: black, brown & oxblood / blanket: charcoal & cream which are the colours used in the painting – its delicate gold waves as a nod to the brass used throughout this set.
The painting is a movement into the next half of the room, which balances the soft shapes of the sofa set with the linearity of the dining. Not-so-hidden beneath the table top, the dining table is carried by interlocking legs, and framed by the low-profile softness of the thick, velvet cushions of the dining chairs, also texture change: grey blue, grey & a muted burnt-orange, cradled by delicate brass frames.
All held together by the warmth of the fireplace designed as a nod to brutalism, its understated lines and warm glow act as the lock and key that binds both parts of the Jawhar set together.
Scafall is proud to introduce the Jawhar collection, exclusively 30% off at the first round of the FAVWAY Event October 1st – 28th. You can find more details about the prices and bundles, and those of other participating designers in the first issue of FLIPSL Magazine. ♥

ABOUT
Jawhar explores the union between bold contemporary geometry and tactile softness, where an earthy palette and warm brass accents provide the frame for something deeper found in the unexpected softness of the boucle, the rug, and the velvet that strengthen the collection. In every touch, the true inner jewel of Jawhar is revealed, where the most profound strength lies in the gentle details you can feel.
